Tell your friends and neighbors about Triangle Xmas. When a household you referred lights up with us, you earn up to 6% of what they pay, every year they stay. Your share comes off your next season first. Once that season is free, the rest is paid to you.

Two ways to earn

Referrals

Share your referral link or code. It is in your customer portal. When a household you referred has their lights installed and pays for their season, you earn up to 6% of what they pay, every year they stay. You see your totals in your portal, never their details.

Ripples

When a home near you lights up with us, you earn a Ripple: a small upgrade credit, bigger the closer the home. $25 within 500 ft, $10 within a quarter mile, $5 within half a mile, from a pool of $150 per lit home. Ripples spend on add-ons, like the bushes by your front door, a lit tree or an upgraded 3D design. They happen again every season your neighbors stay with us.

How you get paid

Your referral share comes off your next season first, until that season is free: your agreement price, up to $2,000. Past that, we pay you the rest by bank transfer or check, never cash, once your referral's season is paid. Ripples are upgrade credits: they spend on add-ons at your next install. Add-ons are regular price.

The short version

  1. When a household you referred has their lights installed and pays for their season, you earn up to 6% of what they pay, every year they stay. You see your totals, never their details.
  2. Your share comes off your next season first. Once that season is free (your agreement price, up to $2,000), we pay you the rest by bank transfer or check, never cash, once their season is paid.
  3. Every season, when a home near you lights up with us, you earn a Ripple: a small upgrade credit, bigger the closer the home. Ripples happen again every season your neighbors stay.
  4. Add-ons are regular price. Your Ripples spend on them at your next install.
  5. You need an active agreement that season to earn. A paused season earns nothing, and signing again picks it back up. Friends cannot refer each other, and one address counts once.
  6. Once we have paid you $600 or more in a year, we need a W-9 from you, and you get a 1099.
  7. Ripples stay with the street: move house and they do not come along. Your referral share moves with you for as long as your agreement is active.

Ripples wait on your account while your agreement is active and spend on add-ons at your next install. Referrals and Ripples both come again every season your neighbors stay with us. A paused season earns nothing.
